Today we begin with an overview of the greatest sermon ever preached. We know this sermon as the “Sermon on the Mount.” The Sermon on the Mount is found in Matthew chapters 5–7. This sermon has been one of the most studied discourses in the world. Because, believe it or not, God is very interested in our happiness. But here’s the thing, our happiness must come through holiness. We as finite and flawed people can’t define true happiness. So it’s in Jesus’ sermon where He defines happiness for us.
