We are gathered here today in the sight of God, and the presence of friends and loved ones, to celebrate one of life’s greatest moments.

We are here to give recognition to the worth and beauty of love, and to add our best wishes and blessings to the words that will unite Brandon Richards and Ashley Singh in holy matrimony.

Who Gives this woman to be married to this man?

Brandon and Ashley, marriage is the most important of all earthly relationships.

It should be entered into reverently, thoughtfully and with a full understanding of its sacred nature.

Your marriage must stand by the strength of your love and the power of faith in each other and in God.

Just as two threads woven in opposite directions form a beautiful tapestry, so to your two lives when merged together will make a beautiful marriage.

Wedding Charge

As we spent time in counseling you discovered what a Godly marriage looks like

We discussed the blessings and challenges that come from a committed relationship

For a marriage to thrive, Jesus Christ must be at the center

Your faith forms the fabric of a relationship that can withstand the storms you will go through

We also talked about the biblical principle of two becoming one

The process of becoming one starts with a man and a woman leaving the care of their parents and clinging to one another

Marriage isn’t an add on to your current life, but taking a whole new path

It’s joining together as one family and forging ahead on a new path

That bond of oneness strengthens as you become more like Christ

Your faith has to be the source from which every thought and emotion flows

It allows you to be more understanding and patient

It gives you the strength to love purely and freely forgive

It provides a framework on how to treat each other and how to raise your family

Declaration of Intent

Brandon, do you take the Ashley to be your Wife?

Do you promise to love, honor, cherish and protect him/her, forsaking all others and holding only unto her forevermore?

Ring Ceremony:

To Ashley: A ring is more than a symbol of your marriage.

It is a seal of the vow you have given to one another!

The circle of the ring, as far as the eye can see, is a perfect circle, with no beginning or end, so God too has perfect love for you and wants you to love another.

The ring is made of precious metal.

You are precious in God's sight and now in the love of Brandon.

When you are absent from one another, the presence of the ring reminds you to be faithful to and fulfill your vow to Brandon.

Brandon please place the ring on the third finger of the left hand and repeat after me:

I Brandon, take you, Ashely to be my Wife- To have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, in joy and sorrow, and I promise My love to you.

And with this ring, I take you as my Wife, for as long as we both shall live.

To Brandon: This ring is a seal of Ashley’s vow to you.

She presents this to you as a token of her submission to you in Jesus Christ.

This is a symbol of leadership and privilege.

God has placed you as the head of the family.

You must lead in worship, works and fellowship.

As the weaker vessel she depends on you for strength.

Ashley Please place the ring on the third finger of the left hand and repeat after me:

I Ashley, take you Brandon, to be my Husband.

Communion

As their first act of marriage, Brandon and Ashley have chosen to partake in communion

Pronouncement

Forasmuch as Brandon & Ashley have consented together in holy wedlock, and have witnessed the same before God and this company, by the authority committed unto me as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I declare that Brandon & Ashley are now Husband and Wife, according to the ordinance of God, and the law of the State of California: in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Brandon, you may now kiss your beautiful bride
