16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

One of the greatest gifts given to man is the Word of God. used and wielded rightly there is no more powerful weapon in the Christian arsenal.
As Paul was instructing this young preacher, He states the origin of this book and in the next chapter, commands Timothy to PREACH THE WORD!
What Paul is telling us and Timothy is there is nothing more important than the Word.
REPROOF
Reproof means criticism for a fault; or to Rebuke
Today there are so many faults in the spiritual world, simply, because of a lack of understanding and an intentional misuse of the Word of God also lack of use of this Word..
Many today are questioning the validity of the Word, because it goes against their lifestyle.
they do not want anyone pointing out their faults, but the Word gives us a duty that when we see our neighbor in error, we are to go to them.
It is time again for this world to know that we are on a collision course with destiny and this Book says what it means and means what it says .
it is not open to interpretation, certainly not for private interpretation, whether you like it or not the Word of God is a stumbling block and a rock of offense to those who discount its validity.
So many today do not have an understanding of the Word it is why they have difficulty walking and believing what it says.
However this Word is so important that a whole chapter and the longest chapter has been dedicated to it.
Ps. 119 with its 176 verses declare its importance.

104 Through Your precepts I get understanding;

Therefore I hate every false way

98 You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies;

For they are ever with me.

99 I have more understanding than all my teachers,

For Your testimonies are my meditation.

100 I understand more than the ancients,

Because I keep Your precepts.

101 I have restrained my feet from every evil way,

That I may keep Your word.

102 I have not departed from Your judgments,

For You Yourself have taught me.

11 Your word I have hidden in my heart,

That I might not sin against You

9 How can a young man cleanse his way?

By taking heed according to Your word.

14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:

“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,

Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write,

‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”: 8 “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. 9 Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. 10 Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. 11 Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. 12 He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.

13 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’
