1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
2 but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.
3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.
4 The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;
6 for the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
Happiness is real,

3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.
In season, the leaf might suffer from the effects of off-seasons, but it does not fadeaway. It might go through a drought from the outside, but because it is “rooted” in the underground stream.
When my light bill is due — i still find my happy
When my kids are underattack — i still find my happy
When my career isn’t going where it should
When my living situation isn’t what I want it to be
When my marriage isn’t where I’d like.
When I can’t find a partner — I still find my happy.
Out of my belly flows rivers of living water.... John 7:37-38
37 On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.
38 Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’ ”
Happiness comes when we seek something higher than happiness — God where he may be found,

His law does he meditate.
He is blessed because he loves the Lord. He is not seeking what makes him happy through the Lord. he is seeking the Lord and that’s what makes him Happy.

2 And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying:
3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
5 “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
7 “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
9 “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
