Salvation Belongs to Yahwah

Do you know that salvation belongs to the Lord? I’m not just talking about a knowledge in the mind… but in your heart of hearts, do you know without any doubt, that salvation belongs to the Lord? Because if did, it would make all the difference for you in your life, and even in your death.

King David had this knowledge — and it made all the difference for him during one of his greatest trials.

The heading of our Psalm is this — A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son.

This heading gives us the context for when this Psalm was written. This story is recounted in 2 Samuel 15. Let me summarize the scene for us.
