However those who seek to live Kingdomly understands and receive such enlighten, informative, eye opening revelations of God’s word. So tonight I would love to stretch our faith, and challenge your present status as it relates to our walk and fellowship with God. Allen Parr Challenge Believer to a Pop quiz, to help us determine whether or not we are walking and or living in the Flesh.
so lets grab a pen and a piece of paper and grade ourselves on a scale from 1-5
1 being lowest score, meaning I am struggling this is a stronghold in life, or a 5 meaning I am doing well, I have master this area in my life, does mean I am not getting tempted, it just means I have Identified it and have full control over this area.
I will at the end of this fellowship tonight share my personal score, to determine whether I am living in the Flesh or not.
we also will explain to you why living in the Flesh can be so detrimental and damaging leaving a residue that will cause collateral damage- what is collateral damage, it is any death, injury or other damage inflicted that is an incidental as result of an activity.
Test Questions-
The Apostle Paul place this group of sin first in the list of sins recorded in the text.
1. SEXUAL SINS

19 Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality,

Sensuality is Promiscuity- these three words are nested in the catagory of Sexual sins, but they have their different meanings.
a. Sexual Immorality- the Greek word is PORNEIA- this is a general word that refers to all illicit sexual relationship- we get our English word Pornography- if you are single and having sex outside of marriage that will fall under this catagory. or you are married and you are having an affair with someone that is not your spouse, that will fall under this Catagory, or same sex relationship as well.
b. Impurity- this involve impure thoughts words or desires (as the Lord lead) it could be you are fantasizing about someone, you are sexting, or telling dirty jokes, it could be you are send inappropriate videos to friends, you could be you are on the phone and talking dirty with an individual, it could be you are flirting with someone who is not your spouse.
c. Promiscuity- or debauchery this is just straight up open public display of your sexual desire devoid of any shame. (as the Lord lead)
Now lets grade ourselves in this catagory write your score down

The first word Paul refers to is
a. Idolatry- Idolatry is any person place thing or thought that you put before God. that can be yourself, your children your spouse, your ministry, your career etc… (as the Lord lead)
b. Sorcery- the Greek word for Sorcery is Pharmakeia- we get our word Pharmacy- this refers to magic, spells or actually drugs, if you are using drugs that are not prescribed to you by a doctor, to transform your mind to escape some sort of reality, this will fit under the catagory of Sorcery.

Test 3
Social Sins- most of these sin believers do not pay close attention to them, they are hidden, because we are on our best behavior when we are in Church. Paul list 8 Social Sins, we are going to cover a few tonight.
English Standard Version (Chapter 5)
enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy
a. Hatred- this can be some deep seated anger towards someone or a group of people possibly because of they’ve offended you. (as the Lord lead)
b. Strife- the outworking of enmity involving quarrel, fights, arguments and disputes. this is lot of fussing and cussing going forth in your interpersonal relationship.
c. Jealousy- Coveting what someone has or wishing they didn’t have the things they have. (as the Lord lead)
d. Fits of anger- public display of anger that are potentially violent and damaging to those around us. this when you or I are raising our voice real loudly, verbally disrespecting someone, we are crusing people out, hanging up the phone on people, slamming doors. it could be physical abuse or domestic abuse, people around us don’t feel safe around us.
e. Selfish ambition- thinking only of yourself even at the expense of others: (as the Lord lead)
f. Dissension/divisions
separation resulting from an inability to resolve conflict in a Healthy way. (as the Lord lead)
3
Test 4 Societal Sins- drunkenness, orgies(wild parties), and things like these. grade yourselves on a scale from 1-5
5
why is this so critical; reason number one

16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.

this is clear, Paul is saying the more you and I are living in the flesh, it will be increasing more difficult for us to walking in the spirit.
another reason Paul gives warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
