Two methods that changed everything for me

The Desert Technique. When Jesus was in the wilderness, He was tested at the most extreme level. He was in an extremely weakened state, and the devil offered Him the world. In the same way, I thought of extreme scenarios, where I would be offered all the pleasures of lust for a hundred lifetimes versus my relationship with God. And then I would reject the worldly offer in exchange for God. And by practicing my resistance to extreme scenarios, my resistance for everyday temptations skyrocketed. Like this has literally been the easiest streak I've ever been on. I would say that 95% of the time, I am free of temptations.

Letting your wave of temptation be an opportunity to worship God. This is the only time that we have where we can suffer for God. This is the only time that we can resist the biological urges of our body in order to show God that we are committed. Whenever I have a strong urge, I tell God, "Lord, I'm willing to give up the very thing my biology wants in order to honor your Holy Name." I then get these rush of goosebumps and I feel the Holy Spirit's presence.

But overall, I feel like its all about just focusing on loving God. God has given so much to us. Who are we to trample of His Son and His grace? Its only so long before we go past the point of no return. I'm not trying to be arrogant that I know better than everyone else here, but I feel like this could really help someone like it helped me!
