I was talking to Sean yesterday and told him some people want the authority of being a father without the responsibility of being one.

But being father is the total package authority with responsibility.

4 In those days, and for some time after, giant Nephilites lived on the earth, for whenever the sons of God had intercourse with women, they gave birth to children who became the heroes and famous warriors of ancient times.

It seems like this wickedness had something to do with fornication

Some people think these Giants were angels that where fornicating with human beings . But that would contradict Jesus words when He said that angels do not fornicate Matt. 22:30

Num 13:32-33 “And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.””

These where more then likely normal people who where demon possessed.

These where people who probably participated in witch crafted

BTW - witch crafted is the greek word pharmicia. Which is the same word used for drugs .

Witch Crafted can be a form of drug abuse. You’re entertaining demonic spirits.

So you think your just having a good time smoking zaza, or purple but really your entertaining strange spirits.

New Living Translation Chapter 6

5 The LORD observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil.

Imagine every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil.

Every inclination of mans heart was evil.

Later on it says Mans heart is evil from his youth.

Gen. 8:21 “And the Lord smelled a soothing aroma. Then the Lord said in His heart, “I will never again curse the ground for man’s sake, although the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done.”

The second coming of Jesus are described similarly as it was in the days of Noah

Matt. 24:36-39 ““But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”

Whats so bad about that description? They are eating drinking given themselves into marriage?

We can similarly look at our lives. We have the car house the american dream married . So whats so bad about that

I’m not hurting anyone

- People then were enjoying the normal pursuits of life, with no awareness of imminent judgment. Life continued normally for the people of Noah’s day for they were eating, drinking, marrying, and giving in marriage.

There was no awareness of the things of God.

Sometimes we will talk to people on the streets about Christ and there will be this sense of apathy. People aren’t interested.

What made it bad is because there was a comfortability that didn’t involve God.

There was connivence but without God.

Gen 6:6 “And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.”

Gen 6:7 “So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.””

Gen 6:8 “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.”

Theres sin on every side. theres infectious evil but then Noah found grace.

Romans 5:20 “Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,”

James 4:6 “But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.””

Where sin abound grace much more abounds.

VII. FATHERS SHOULD INFLUENCE WITH A VISION, LIKE NOAH.

1. Noah’s vision was of a perishing world; Gen. 6:13.

2. Noah’s vision was of a way of escape; Heb. 11:7.

3. Noah’s vision brought him safety; Gen. 8:16.

You can have all the vision in the world and without the grace of God it doesnt

Noah found grace.

Didn’t men in the Bible who found grace and live out grace .

Though Adam fell He still recieved grace

The grace that Noah received saved his family and all of humanity and living creatures.

Moses recieved grace.
