Happy Father’s Day!

I could have come to you today with statistics on fatherhood.

Talked about the need for fathers.

Tried to build us up and make us feel better in a world and society that has largely discounted fathers hood.

How government has tried to replace father’s with welfare checks

First apology

I woke up this morning very angry.

I was rude to my wife...

Ignored my daughter...

Yelled at my son...

For that I publically apologize to my family.

It was not until I got to the office and threw myself into the chair behind my desk, fuming at how hot is was in my office that I put my head on my desk and asked God the question I should have asked before I got our of bed!

God, what is going on!

As fast as the question formed in my mind the answer came: this is how men feel all across America every day, all day!

Men are told they are:

unnecessary

unwanted

mostly tolerated IF

masculinity is toxic

What does God say?

Prov 20:7 righteous

Teachers of compassion: Ps 103:13

Prov. 4:1-9, Prov 22:6, Deut 6:6-9 Life teachers

Gen 18:19 commanders

Prov 13:24, Prov 19:18 Dispensers of discipline

Luke 15 they are merciful

Ps 127:3-5 fulfillers of purpose

Josh 24:15 pass righteousness down to the next generation

103 passages in the bible dealing with the importance of fatherhood.

If there is a hundred passages dealing with fatherhood there must be 300 dealing with motherhood!

That’s what society would have you believe BUT it the opposite.

30-35 passages dealing on motherhood in all the scripture!

Because God knew the attack of fatherhood!

In this society you are nothing men, but don’t despair!

In the only kingdom that matters, you are a necessary and intricate part of God’s purpose!

Man is created in the image of God…

We emulate God, our Father - the Father of all

This is where we get our protective instinct, our since of judgement, need for stand for something, be something, accomplish or produce something.

Key words for dad:

Train, protect, grow, produce, balance, truth, rules, discipline, love, respect, righteous anger

Ladies, you are created in the image of man, you emulate the Man Christ Jesus.

This is where you get your love, mercy and compassion. Your need to protect stems from love (mans need to protect stems from justice and righteousness)

Key words for mom:

Nurture (men train, women nurture - men are to make productive what women bring to life and together they produce maturity) (nurturing takes place in a controlled environment, training takes place in often harsh environments) love, advice, direction, righteous peace

Men are OT and women are NT!

Men you have a right to be angry at what the world has done to you and your role in the family.

You are just as necessary as the mother.

Be angry but be righteous in your anger!

This is an attack on the family, ultimately on the church.

Take your righteous indignation out of the source of the problem, an antichrist agenda!

How to defeat the antichrist agenda against Godly families!

Do right!

I’m sick of sassy kids!

We need father’s to instill some fear into their kids IN A GODLY MANNER!

If you don’t think your dad is a mean jerk at some point in your life then he prob not doing it right

I’m sick of watching family fall apart!

We need some godly men and women to understand there place and authority and walk together in it!

You ladies be careful. This society has given you permission to fulfill roles that are not biblical. You need to take a step back and make sure you are fulfilling your role and let him fill his!

Yes manhood and fatherhood is under attack.

There is an anger on men today (Isaiah to me).

No coincidence that on FD have gay pride march on this weekend.

No coincidence that our president would put another holiday back to back with Father’s Day.

Pray the Peace of God on you men!

Men you are the gatekeepers of the power of God flowing into your family!

Lift up holy hand...

Surender.

That is not natural to men.

For a man to surrender you have to take away all options.

Most will fight to the death for their belief.
