The Sacred Oil

Exodus 30:22-38 the making and purpose of the oil

An Holy Ointment (22-29)

Used for the tabernacle

Set apart for the purposes of God

Used to anoint and prepare the high priest for service

It is not used as perfume

It is not used for strangers

Because this oil is sacred and to be used only for the priests, We must ask what benefit is there for us?

David gives that answer to us in Psalms 133 the oil runs down

The Blessing for all

Deuteronomy 25:1-10 Building your brothers house

Verse 1-3 dont overdue punishment on your brother

Verse 4- even down to the animals

Verse 5-10 doing all to build your brothers house

Blessed to be a blessing

God, in blessing Aaron, brought great blessing and help, even forgiveness of sins to all Israel

Here on the mountain God gave the covenant to Moses that was brought down to the people

His blessing is life ever lasting

Hebrews 1:10 Jesus is the anointed one

Hebrews 2:16-3:3 Jesus came to give us a blessing
