Being at the library one time. Step Mom didn’t show, Dad didn’t know and I couldn’t get a hold of anyone on the telephone. It felt like I was all alone. I stood outside in my shorts, it was spring time in OK, so warm in the day but cool in the evening. I was standing there freezing and thinking everyone has forgotten about me, I don’t even know how to get home.
I think we have all had these moments in life. Moments when we feel all alone, I can tell you that the blind man sure felt all alone, the man who healed him not around, parents forsaken him for fear of themselves and his spiritual leaders throwing him out to the wolves. Man it sure can feel pretty lonely in this world, but I want to tell you Jesus knows, even when we can’t see Him or feel Him, Jesus know as it says here in John 9:35
Jesus heard that they had put him out, and finding him, He said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”

Jesus heard and found the healed man. He had never truly forsaken him, it may seem like Jesus is far off but He is always near. In the loneliest of times, He is right there with us through the Holy Spirit, just like it was for this man.

Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and when he found him, he said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”
“Who is he, sir?” the man asked. “Tell me so that I may believe in him.”
1. Its a deeper question
a. sure he was healed
b. Son of Man
“In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence.
i. Means generally someone who was born a man
ii. But because of Daniel it can also mean Savior
iii. Context Jesus is using alludes to Dan 7:13 and its important to recognize that

a. Wasn’t a blind man’s belief
b. He wanted to know
i. Jesus spoke in 3rd person

B. Wasn’t Alone
Jesus said, “You have now seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking with you.”
1. Jesus knew his trial
a. allowed him to walk it
b. allowed him to testify
2. In the trial we find the testimony
These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

Removed most of my temper issues, beyond that has saved my marriage, has given me the blessing of being here amongst you. My Savior continues to lavish love upon me day in and day out in spite of myself, which leads me to worship and repent.
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
c. He lavishes His love upon those who call on His name
B. For Judgement
Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.”

a. Those who will hear and those who wont

2. Just like the blind man
a. He example of being blind but now seeing
b. He was willing to be called and willing to follow
i. Willing to worship when he knew the Truth
c. We are Spiritually blind but now we see
i. Or we can see if we are willing
C. Enter Pharisees, Enter the flesh
Some Pharisees who were with him heard him say this and asked, “What? Are we blind too?”
Jesus said, “If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains.
1. Do we see the battle yet
a. Pharisees represent the flesh
b. All that is wrong with us and our pride
2. Arrogance prevents repentance
Facebook discussion about God loving unconditionally. Man was willing to put it all on the line to say God won’t judge me because He loves me. The arrogance of sin in the face of God is foolishness to those who believe but to the unbelieving, to the unwilling, foolishness appears as wisdom.
a. But we all fall short, that is the Truth
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

e. We maybe tested, but never beyond what He has already prepared for us

Conclusion:
So we become the blind man, unable to see, unable to discern and unable to know. Although we may stumble around and make it look like we aren’t blind, we are sinners who have fallen short. The good news is we can be washed clean to see clearly with Spiritual eyes that give us insight, understanding and worship to the one who heals our vision. The one who never leaves or forsakes us, the one who will fight our battle alongside us, the one who will never let us fall, only let us be saved, Jesus Christ.
