Will you pray with me?

Heavenly Father?

We do need thee every hour.

We need you when we wake up, when we go to sleep.

We need you when we are running healthy and we need you, when we are in our homes, are in a hospital bed, sick or in pain.

God, we need you.

When we go to the voting, Boxer ballot.

We need you in evaluating our to respond to situations in our country, and our family.

Even in our own souls in our own body.

Gotta admit that I need you today.

Just like I needed you yesterday and like I'll need you tomorrow shot.

You give me the breath for another day.

We ask you to grant us wisdom today as we look at your word, we ask you to grant us Health as a church that we might serve.

And will you give us a peace that passes all understanding.

So we may be present in a world filled with anxiety, and Division and chaos.

May we live the life that you've created us to live, may it be done on Earth as it is in heaven.

Family reunions.

You know what I'm talking about?

Family reunions.

Some of us have family reunions that are huge.

You wear it out until you don't even know what it says anymore.

I remember a few family reunions.

We had one was in Denver has a great story to tell except I was three and I don't really remember it.

We went to the Smoky air to the Rocky Mountain National Park but I got a sliver that day in my foot so I couldn't go my brother almost died by getting caught in a mountain stream and flowing down the river.

Ya see, I'm going to tell stories about my brother to take his family reunions day, the other the other family reunions remember was in Grand Rapids Michigan in my aunt and uncle's house and you know family reunions the Aunts Uncles.

The grandparents everybody, the cousins are all together and what happens the cousins come together and then cited but the parents come together.

They want to do what?

I want to talk how boring until the children are sent off to go play like hey you go find something to do for a little while and then come back and invariably leads what happened to my family invariably what would happen if the children would go off?

When your family is, it was like an invasion but none of this preparation was for a performance.

Family reunions devolve into from a child perspective chaos.

I'm important and worthy of your attention, just like the church in the 1st Corinthians 1st Corinthians talks about I messed up the transition.

They were buying for the acknowledgement and recognition that.

When we come to church each Sunday, we want to be cruciform.

We want to be christocentric, that is to say everything we say and everything.

We want to be biblical.

We don't come and just make things up.

We acknowledge that the scriptures are the ultimate source for truth as God is the ultimate source of all

When we do that.

It is living out who we are going through this series that you all are tired of trying.

Now of identity When you were in Christ, you are to live like one who is in Christ.

It's what you do.
