The New King James Version (Chapter 6)
3 Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe it, that it may be well with you, and that you may multiply greatly as the LORD God of your fathers has promised you—‘a land flowing with milk and honey.’4 “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one! 5 You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.6 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
Today is Father’s Day and again i would like to say congratulations to those of you that are fulfilling one of the greatest duties given to man. this morning i do not wish to bash or tear down or make us feel sorrowful today this is a a celebration day for father’s and i want us to be happy, but as we look around our world today and see what it has come to and we moan and groan about it; it is however time for us to realize this is a problem we have created.
We as men, trying to be men, we as fathers and husband, trying to be fathers and husbands have become too busy to be husbands, father’s and even Christians.
We have allowed a gap to grow between each generation and now is the moment come that we as Godly men will rise up and take our place in the Kingdom.
Moses declares as he writes this chapter that God expects us to train our children in how to live a godly life.
The New King James Version (Chapter 6)
6 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.
Because we have let this verse fall by the wayside, we have allowed society to dictate what is right and wrong, because we let our school system and video games, Tik Tok, Instagram and social media dictate there world never interjecting the Word of God into them the generation that is needing god has no knowledge of Him.
In Ezekiel 22:30 “So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.”
God is still looking for men who will intercede, who will stand up for what is right so that this generation will know the power of Jehovah God.
Not just in words, but in deeds.
Men who will stand in the gap where the enemy Satan has been pilfering our homes and running off with our sons and daughters, carrying them away captive to a foreign land.
Since we have not been on active duty, the enemy has deceived this generation with the same lie as he came to Hezekiah
The New King James Version (Chapter 36)
Make peace with me by a present and come out to me; and every one of you eat from his own vine and every one from his own fig tree, and every one of you drink the waters of his own cistern; 17 until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards.
Satan has built a counterfeit kingdom and is leading our legacy and our heritage into bondage.
Let’s not hold to our traditions any longer, but let us arise and take our place as the Hight Priest of our homes with the attitude of David shall I pursue this troop.
The Pharisees Matthew 3:9 “and do not think to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.”
They thought that following a family tree, a bloodline of a Patriarch they thought they would be alright, but Jesus speaks to them saying REPENT!
We as father’s must repent and seek forgiveness of the generations we have lost so that we can regain them and attain the Promise God has for them.
Isaiah 58”:11 The Lord will guide you continually,
And satisfy your soul in drought,
And strengthen your bones;
You shall be like a watered garden,
And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
12 Those from among you
Shall build the old waste places;
You shall raise up the foundations of many generations;
And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach,
The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.
