Joke --- I want to be so full of Jesus that if a mosquito bites me; it will fly away singing there is power in the blood
What does it mean to be fatherless??? --- a person without a male parent, often called orphans.
They were social misfits without one to provide for there material needs, maternal guidance, and to be loved.
Life for the fatherless was harsh,
God has always been on the side of the fatherless.
Psalm 68:5 “5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, Is God in his holy habitation.”
James 1:27 “27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”
Maybe your Father hasn't treated you right, verbal abuse, sexual abuse, or just wasn’t there for you when you needed him.
Fathers may let you down but our Heavenly Father will never leave you down.
John 14 :15-18 “15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.”
Remember when you forgive, you heal, and when you let go, you grow.
