Proverbs 1:20–23 (NKJV)20Wisdom calls aloud outside; She raises her voice in the open squares.21She cries out in the chief concourses, At the openings of the gates in the city She speaks her words:22“How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? For scorners delight in their scorning, And fools hate knowledge.23Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.

I. Availability of Wisdom
A. In our text Wisdom has made herself available / She’s loud
1. In my neighborhood moms would yell outside for kids / heard from afar
2. Wisdom is not easy to avoid
The problem is we can tune things out
This can happen with all senses / smell ask teenagers? / Sound
B. Wisdom is there for the taking
1. God is showing us here that avoiding wisdom isn’t good
2. Turning away from wisdom will cost us = time, money, relationally...
