9 “Therefore, you should pray like this: Our Father in heaven, your name be honored as holy.
10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
P – Praise: to ascribe or attribute glory to the Lord for the marvelous things He has done, is doing, and will do.

9 “Therefore, you should pray like this: Our Father in heaven, your name be honored as holy.
A psalm of thanksgiving.
1 Let the whole earth shout triumphantly to the Lord!
2 Serve the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
3 Acknowledge that the Lord is God. He made us, and we are his— his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and bless his name.
5 For the Lord is good, and his faithful love endures forever; his faithfulness, through all generations.
Pray prayers of praise for what God has done in your life and in the life of this church. For his ever-comforting presence in the midst of past trials and His faithfulness in walking with you through all seasons of life. We know life isn’t always easy, and being a body of believers also has its challenges, but God has been faithful and is the only one who holds all things.
R – Repent: turning from sin and forsaking everything that has been either standing in God’s place or hindering you from communion with God.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
8 If we say, “We have no sin,” we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say, “We have not sinned,” we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
1 My little children, I am writing you these things so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ the righteous one.
2 He himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours, but also for those of the whole world.
God is more than willing to forgive. He is waiting for us to admit we cannot save ourselves and even as we may be saved, that we cannot direct our lives as we intend. We must return to Him and follow where He leads.
A – Ask: to call on for an answer, and in this sense, to bring something before God that burdens us or something we long to see happen.

“Give us today our daily bread…” (Matt. 6:11)
13 And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
5 Let your graciousness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.
6 Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
It could be something urgent like food on the table, or a treatment plan for a diagnosis, or for God to satisfy a desire we long to have fulfilled.
It may not even be something material you need to ask, but maybe petitions for peace that covers anxiousness or a fear of the unknown, or courage and boldness to take the Gospel to a neighbor or coworker.
Y – Yield; to give up possession of or to submit one’s self to what the Lord wills.

10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
If we are to live fully in Gods’ will, we must get out of our own way and allow God to move in and through us. And we cannot tell God where we want Him to move. We must let Him have access to every part of our lives at any given time. Pray that we would have the faith to trust Him and place what we hold closed-fisted on the altar and to step back.
The Lord’s Table
No we are going to transition into the part of the service we where we celebrate the lord’s sacrifice.
We as a church practice open communion this means that anyone who has turned from sin and put their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and savior may participate in this part of the service.
However, if you have not yet put your faith in Jesus Christ as savior we ask that you do not participate or if you are living in unrepentant sin. In other words, we ask all those who know there is sin in their lives that they are unwilling to deal with it is also best that you do not participate for your own good.
28 Let a person examine himself; in this way let him eat the bread and drink from the cup.
29 For whoever eats and drinks without recognizing the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself.
30 This is why many are sick and ill among you, and many have fallen asleep.
31 If we were properly judging ourselves, we would not be judged,
32 but when we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined, so that we may not be condemned with the world.
The Bread
The Bread
23 For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: On the night when he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took bread,
24 and when he had given thanks, broke it, and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”
The Cup
The Cup
25 In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, and said, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.”
26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.
