After silencing his foes in the temple, Jesus pronounced his woes against them. First, he warned the crowds and his disciples of the scribes and Pharisees' hypocrisy and arrogance. Then he blasted these blind guides directly accusing them of grievous sins and declaring them to be deserving of the sentence of hell.
