I want us to consider Samson at this point. No doubt, being blind & with no strength, Samson had much to ponder. He was not strong; he was not functioning as a normal person; he was not pain free; he was not happy. Yet, he achieved more for God this way, than when he was fully well & fully able. Yes, we should strive to be skilful & the best we can be for God, but as you could see from these last verses about Samson's life, he was more effective for God when he was down & out.
