Intro: Matthew 9:18-19

Noise can do a lot of things depending on the type of noise it is. Some noise can bring excitement, some noise can annoy us, and some noise can distract us.

So it is important that we rid our self of the noise that is stopping us from hearing God in our life, So the Miracle we need can happen.

Matthew 9:23–26 (LEB)
And when Jesus came into the ruler’s house and saw the flute players and the disorderly crowd, he said, “Go away, because the girl is not dead, but is sleeping.” And they ridiculed him. But when the crowd had been sent out, he entered and took her hand, and the girl got up. And this report went out into that whole region.
We find her a very disturbing scene, we find a young lady who was once sick now dead according to those presents in the house. This young lady was not just any young lady but she was from a very prominent and rich family her father was a rich ruler. Her father had authority in this town. Her father could have anything he want it all he had to do was say the word.
However we find her father in a situation when his wealth and his money could do nothing to get him out of his situation. His statutes and his authority could not get him anything he needed for his daughter.
Matthew, Mark, and Luke are consider Synoptic Gospels meaning that they all tell the same story from a different view.
Mark 5:38 NLT
When they came to the home of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw much commotion and weeping and wailing.
Luke 8:52 NLT
The house was filled with people weeping and wailing, but he said, “Stop the weeping! She isn’t dead; she’s only asleep.”
But what I wanted to show you was there was a lot of noise, there was a lot going on. They thought He had gotten there too late because they said she was dead.
When it’s too late for us, it’s just the right time for God. He tells him that the girl is not dead but rather sleeping they begin to laugh and make more noise. Jesus finally gets rid of the noise.
We must remember scripture Ephesians 3:20-21 says
Ephesians 3:20–21 NLT
Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.
Before he entered the house the noise had to go. Sometimes in our own lives we have to make room, We have to remove some things for him to come in.
Question 1-
I have for you today is what’s the noise that you need to kick out, that is stopping you from getting a breakthrough, what’s the noise you need to get rid of that stopping you from your miracle.
See this text said the people came with noise because they had given up hope they were planning the funeral, Jesus was saying something different what he was saying I’m coming with the miracle. I don’t know about you but I’m ready for miracle I’m ready forgot to do anything and everything that he’s ready to do in my life.
You see it’s not that he had anything against the ones who were in the room, however, he didn’t want to be around those who did not believe God could do the impossible. Those who do not believe in him, do not have confidence in him that he was capable of what he said. Sometimes you have to take a break from people who don’t believe in you, from people who laugh at your dreams and visions that God has placed in your life.
See when you’re going through something you don’t need to be around those who are going to talk about you and laugh at you. However you do need to be around those who can get a prayer through for you those who are going to be with you and not laugh at you, and believe in what God is doing in your life.
Question 2-
Could your mind be messing with you?
See the truth of the matter is sometimes we blame the devil, but in reality it’s our own thoughts and ideas that stop us sometimes from reaching to potential that God has already created in us.
If we can allow the Bible to transform us into the people that God is called us to be we will truly be what God is called us to be.
It’s not only people that bring the noise, sometimes it’s our own mind that comes with noisy thoughts.
Romans 12:2 NLT
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
See when I renew my mind I get rid of the noise that is stopping me from believing what God is saying I am.
