matthew 7:24-29

Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain came down and the rivers came and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it did not collapse, because its foundation was laid on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain came down and the rivers came and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it collapsed, and its fall was great. 28 And it happened when Jesus finished these words the crowds were amazed at his teaching, 29 because he was teaching them like one who had authority, and not like their scribes.

Teaching them with Authority

Influence, Ability, Power, Strength/Might

Jesus is Preaching to the crowdes from the Mountain Tops
Dont give up spiritual blessings/gifts for things of the world
Ask and it will be given to you, how much more does your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask.
ASK! for the Holy Spirit to fill you up righteousness, with Gods Word, with Knowledge and wisdom Ask for discernment for your life. Like they aked Acts 2:38-40 “And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized, each one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children, and for all those who are far away, as many as the Lord our God calls to himself.” And with many other words he solemnly urged and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this crooked generation!””
Acts 16:30 “And he brought them outside and said, “Sirs, what must I do so that I can be saved?””
2 Timothy 2:15 “Make every effort to present yourself approved to God, a worker having no need to be ashamed, guiding the word of truth along a straight path.”

Jesus continues to parallel Good/Evil Holiness/Deciet

Jesus is clearly showing us the way in these scriptures because His words are sprit and truth.
Matthew 7:21-23 ““Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many miracles in your name?’ And then I will say to them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Depart from me, you who practice lawlessness!’”

The Holy Spirit is our foundation

Titus 3:5-6 “he saved us, not by deeds of righteousness that we have done, but because of his mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,”
The Holy spirit comes live on the inside you To lead and guide you in truth.
Zechariah 4:6 not by power nor by might but by my Spirit says the Lord Almighty
Romans 8:26 “And likewise also, the Spirit helps us in our weakness, for we do not know how to pray as one ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with unexpressed groanings.”
There’s power in unity Jesus said the Father and I are ONE, In the upper room they waited in agreement and recieved power when the Holy Spirit came upon them
There’s gift’s of the Spirit
We have the authority in Christ Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit that way the believer Walks in Victory

The wise man and the fool

The wise man who hears God’s word and does them or hears God’s small still voice and obey’s
Jesus is the Rock
Matthew 10:27-28 “What I say to you in the dark, tell in the light, and what you hear in your ear, proclaim on the housetops. And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but are not able to kill the soul, but instead be afraid of the one who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”
1 Corinthian 10:1-4 “For I do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud and all went through the sea, and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, and all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ.”
