Colossians 1:20 KJV 1900
20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
God reconciled the books
God had to initiate a reconciling
God never offended you, you offended God and then He initiated the reconciling
Colossians 1:21 KJV 1900
21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
Colossians 1:22 KJV 1900
22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
What Jesus did on the cross for you allows Jesus to be able to present you holy, unblamable and unreproveable
God made peace with us through the blood of the cross of calvary
Peace with God is the greatest thing you can possess
Romans 5:1 KJV 1900
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
we don’t have the power to justify ourself
The day you accepted Christ as your saviour you became justified
Jesus is the Prince of Peace
Peace is a byproduct of living the Spirit filled life
At Salvation there is immediate justification eternally
Daily we have peace by walking in the Spirit
Ephesians 2:14–19 (KJV 1900)
14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Man could not go past the veil into God’s presence in the Holy of Holies
Just the priest
15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
God destroyed the hostility
16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
All the anger and wrath of God hit Jesus
If you by faith accept Christ
17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
Jesus came to preach peace
Philippians 4:7 KJV 1900
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Isaiah 26:3 KJV 1900
3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on thee: Because he trusteth in thee.
Mark 4:39 KJV 1900
39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
Jesus is the God of peace
Jesus wants to speak peace in your life
Colossians 1:21 KJV 1900
21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
Colossians 1:22 KJV 1900
22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
We were literally alienated from God
This world is not like the Word of God and Christianity
Light interferes in Darkness
We are children of the light
Ephesians 4:18 KJV 1900
18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
Ephesians 2:12 KJV 1900
12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
No hope - let’s understand the gravity of that statement
Without jesus there is no hope
there is no heaven
there is no peace
Ephesians 2:13 KJV 1900
13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
You can come near to God no through Christ
Ephesians 2:19 KJV 1900
19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
The wall of partition God tore down
God loved you enough to take care of the hostility between you
If you are save, you are all the way saved
If you are born again
You are a part of the family of God
1 Peter 2:11 KJV 1900
11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
Peace can be interrupted
How do we have peace every day?
Very simple:
Colossians 1:23 (KJV 1900)
23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
Continue in the faith
Don’t be inconsistent
Steadfast unmovable
1. Our consistency is in the crosshairs of the devil
You will be challenged by the world the flesh and the devil
There’s warfare to be in God’s house
Prayer
The world, the flesh, the devil
Your unsaved family will mock you
your
When you continue to witness consistently
Light in darkness the world doesn't like
Your flesh doesn’t like consistency
Your flesh will be dethroned
all your enemies are against your endurance
2 Timothy 4:7–8 KJV 1900
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
Endure to the end
The world will mock you
Your flesh will try to dethrone the spirit
The devil
the devil doesn't care if you are a casual christian
He knows it wont endure
Carnal believers that aren’t
maybe if you weren't so faithful
trying to help the hurting
Instability will cause you to not excel in the Christian life
Carnal believers are convicted by faithful believers
You need more church than you think you need
We can’t afford to be casual christians
Ephesians 4:11–13 KJV 1900
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
The pillar and the ground of church
The church brings stability
Helps your walk
Helps your service
2. You need more of the Word than you think you need
We need the Word
We have to have the Word
You have the gift of the word to strengthen you

Corporate and private prayer
I love praying with my p
