Ever-Present- He has made his home in us

He doesn’t leave us when trouble comes

He’s not a visitor

Paracletus - Advocate

Called to ones aid. Advocate in a court of law

Living Like We Are Helpless- You are never without help- you are not helpless

Not Orphans- “I will not leave you as orphans” Orphans are alone and by themselves - “I will never leave you nor forsake you” “I willbe with you till the end of the age”

Without parents- Fatherless

Living Like Orphans- I have no one who loves, cares, fights, defends me

The Spirit Gives Life -

John 6:63 NIV “The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life.”

Pnuema- breath of God

Gives- Life

Releases energy full of life- resuscitation

Thats why you will live eternally because there is an eternal spirit within

Led By The Spirit- What leads you?

Romans 8:14–17 (NKJV) 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

Led by the Spirit- if you live life leed by the Spirit.......Conditional

Not Slaves

Not Fearful

Sons of God

Heirs of God

Suffering is part of serving God
