Satan is our accuser
John 8:44

Go and Sin No More
John 5:1-15
Jesus healed a man at the Pool of Bethesda. Afterward, Jesus found the man and told him, ‘See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.’
John 8:3-11
Jesus did not condemn a guilty woman of adultery. Instead, he told her accusers that ‘the one who was without sin should throw the first stone.’ One by one, the condemning crowd left and Jesus told the woman, ‘neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more.’
Jude 24
‘Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.’
Our changed lifestyle is a great testimony and witness to the world that Jesus changes lives!

‘If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.’

Jesus is our Defender
1 John 2:1
‘My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous.’ NLT
• Our hearts can’t handle all the accusations the enemy throws at us when we sin.
• Jesus is our Advocate ~ pleading our case before the Father ~ supporting us.
• Jesus stands before God on our behalf and pleads:
o This one, I shed my blood for.
o This one, I died for.
o This one, gave their life to me.
• Not only does He plead our case ~ but He has already paid the price for our forgiveness and freedom.
• Our God is greater than our accuser!
