B. The Bible is God’s Word to us. II Tim. 3:16
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;
and regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you,
as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.
“He humbled you and let you be hungry, and fed you with manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that He might make you understand that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord.
C. This is the complete word of God. II Cor. 13:8-10
For we cannot oppose the truth, but must always stand for the truth. We are glad to seem weak if it helps show that you are actually strong. We pray that you will become mature.
I am writing this to you before I come, hoping that I won’t need to deal severely with you when I do come. For I want to use the authority the Lord has given me to strengthen you, not to tear you down.
D. Prophecy and tongues are put on hold, until the tribulation period.
III. How Jesus’ Message is Complete vs. 3

C. Jesus is God, that is what exact representation of His nature.
D. Jesus upholds creation just by a word. Col. 1:16-17
For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.
He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
E. Jesus was the sacrifice that fulfilled the prophecy, and satisfied the wrath of God.
F. Because He is so much greater than the prophets, His message is greater than the prophets. God still speaks to us, but He does so through His holy Word.
