“Choosing Good or Evil-The Choice is Yours

This Week’s Theme: Be Constant in the midst of Chaos
Memory Verse: 2 Kings 17:39 But the Lord your God you shall fear; and He will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies
This Week’s Word is Steadfast: Not fickle or wavering; constant; firm; resolute unswerving; steady
Essence of the Text in a Sentence: Judah rejected God and His law and attempted to reverse tradition and make good evil and evil good
Sermon Objective: I want those in attendance to know that although the world may choose to disobey God, we can still find favor with God by honoring and obeying Him and His word.

Sermon Proposition: Christians should acknowledge who God is, Exalt Him for what He has done for us. Honor Him and remain faithful.

I. “Stand Firm and not Sway

How do you handle being around a family gathering, work event or social gathering when the atmosphere is majority sinners?
How can you be better prepared to respond in a situation where someone is twisting scripture for their own benefit?
Why are we not fruitful? Is it God’s fault?
When God extends grace to us, what is our response?
Will you repent (turn from) of your sins today?
Actions speak louder than words, name the Christians you will tell your sins to and those who you will look to for accountability

II. Surviving a Declining Culture

Does our sin today cause God to agonize over our society?
Do you respond to God or are there times we expect God to submit to our wants, demands and desires?
What can you learn from Isaiah’s warning today?
