Proclaim Scripture: Before the Sermon

‘We have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love, abides in God, and God in him.’ 1 John 4:16

Psalm 145:5

‘I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, and on Your wondrous works.’

• ‘majesty’ is Strong’s Concordance H1935 & means – beauty, comeliness, excellency, glorious, glory, goodly, honor and grandeur.

Psalm 145 ~ the Passion Version

Many meanings of majesty:

In these verses: ‘majesty’ is Strong’s Concordance H1926 & means – beauty, comeliness, excellency, glorious, glory, goodly, honor and magnificence, ornament or splendor.

Psalm 29:4

‘The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.’

Psalm 104:1

‘Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, You are very great: You are clothed with honor and majesty,’

‘majesty’ in this verse is Strong’s Concordance G3168 & means – magnificence, mighty power, superbness, glory, splendor.

2 Peter 1:16

‘For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty.’

‘Majesty’ in both these verses, is in upper case and is Strong’s Concordance G3172 & means – greatness, divinity, God Himself.

Hebrews 1:3

‘who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,’

Hebrews 8:1

‘Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens,’

Kingdom Authority ~ flows from His throne, unto His own. We are seated in heavenly places!

Look at problems from God’s viewpoint.

Matthew 19:26

‘…With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’

Look at problems from our heavenly position where we’re seated in His Majesty, our King Jesus.

Speak the Word of God over problems ~ and watch the Word work!
