The fourth commandment is regarding observing the Sabbath day. The Sabbath commandment is a ceremonial law, not a moral law. As a ceremonial law, the observance of days is a matter of Christian freedom. There is, however, both wisdom and witness in the free observance of a day of rest. And there is a need for us to gather for worship and celebrate the rest we have in Christ.
