a young pastor once asked

"Why is it that new Christians create problems in the church?”.

"They don't create problems," I replied. "They reveal them. The problems have always been there, but we've gotten used to them. New Christians are like children in the home: they tell the truth about things!"

George Bernard - “ The youth is wasted on the young”

He was saying it ashamed that the young has this great gift called youth and they don’t even know it.

Ecc. 12:1 “Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, “I have no pleasure in them”:”

This word “remember” has a parallel meaning it means to mediate and walk with God.

Ps. 63:6 “When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.”

Psalm 1:2 “But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night.”

Remember the one who could give life and take it away.

If you build yourself up in the Lord when your young when the inevitable trouble comes we will be prepared.

Lam 3:27 “It is good for a man to bear The yoke in his youth.”

1 tim 4:12 “Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

In our youth were not as calculated we are not as analytical, we very much just react.

we don’t excerise allot of wisdom . its more zeal without wisdom . Romans 10:2

We see something we think its a good idea and go for it .

As youths we can be easily distracted !

1 we make a lot of mistakes ,

2 thats when we grow the most 3 we remember the most ,

4 we have the most zeal and enthusiasm .

There are great people in the Bible who did some great things

David at a young age he was tending to the sheep and he slew a lion and a bear ! It was David in his youth where he excerised faith and defeated Goliath 1 Sam 17:1 ,

Jeremiah became a major Prophet at a really young age Jer 1:6,7 . Some times we look at our youth we think we have to be a curtain age to walk with God but truthfully God can use us where we are at !

Being transparent with God , not constantly using the Christian Phraseology. “ Stay in the Book, Bible . Psalm 119:11 I have hid your word in my heart “story about my grandfather “ Never think that your sin is to big that God cant forgive . The maturity of a believer is not how many mistakes you make but how fast your rebound . Be a disciple - its okay to be vulnerable
