1)The Lord routed Sisera and all his chariots and all his army with the edge of the sword before Barak
2) Sisera alighted from his chariot and fled on foot, Barak pursued the army of Sisera and they all fell by the sword, not even one was left.
3) Sisera fled to the tent of Jael, she gave him drink and covered him, drove a tent peg through his temple.
Told Barak, “Come I will show you the one you are seeking”

1) one of Gilead’s sons but the only one of brothers born of a prostitute (unwanted)
2) drove out by his brothers / worthless fellows gathered themselves to Jephthah
3) Ammonites fought against Israel / Gilead’s elders ask Jephthah to be chief and fight for them
4) Accused by the Ammonites for Israel driving them from their land (passing through in journey from Egypt)
5) Jephthah tries diplomacy with Ammon / his message disregarded by Ammon
