1 Corinthians 6:19–20 NKJV

Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

christ cleansed the temple twice....so they could worship God instead of self

we have been cleansed by the blood of the lamb

must be cleansed so that we have fellowship

must continue to be cleansed so that we are prepared for good works

2 Timothy 3:16–17 NKJV

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Ephesians 4:11–16 NKJV

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

webster 1: to honor or show reverence for as a divine being or supernatural power 2: to regard with great or extravagant respect, honor, or devotion a celebrity worshipped by her fans

Mt 2:2 “saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.””

John 3:5 NKJV

Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

1 Jn 4:6 “We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.”

1 Jn 5:6 “This is He who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth.”

2 Jn 4 “I rejoiced greatly that I have found some of your children walking in truth, as we received a commandment from the Father.”

4:24 “Those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

True worship is not based on a geographical location. It is a matter of the human spirit receiving the truth of God’s Word by faith. True worship is when we believe and act on (obey) God’s Word.
