Place Your Trust in Jesus Christ
Place Your Trust in Jesus Christ
In the world we live there are many voices from every direction leading us one way or the other. This could be our own voices/way of living, our own truth, friends with good intentions advising us on how we should live, internet/Facebook Theologians twisting scripture to confuse those that are searching for truth. These distractions will ultimately lead to our demise and render us weak and easily deceived by those that have rejected God and His way and plan of Salvation.
Our journey will define who we are to be in this life and where our lives will continue in the life to come. Some to condemnation and others to glory.
Finding the narrow path that leads to the narrow gate (Jesus).
Those that don’t believe will always be with us, but we must never compromise the truth which Jesus Christ - our foundation, our oasis our Rock.
Never give up on God, but cling to Him with all your heart. Receive the peace of know!!!
Psalm 119:89
Your word, O LORD, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.
We need to anchor our souls in the Word of God which is eternal and will stand firm for all creation forever. If you need a foundation, something to build upon why not God’s word. Everything else can be added to it!
Exodus 14-13
13 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. 14 The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Moses says to us, “Do not be afraid.” ff we don’t walk away from God but stand firm we shall be delivered. Our enemies will be defeated that rise up against us.
Job 11:15
Yet if you devote your heart to him and stretch out your hands to him,14 if you put away the sin that is in your hand and allow no evil to dwell in your tent,15 then you will lift up your face without shame;you will stand firm and without fear.
We are to devote our hearts to our God, lifting our hands up to Him in praise -
putting away the sin in our lives and not allowing evil to live in us. Then when we
look up to the Lord God we will feel no shame, no guilt and no regrets - we will
then be enabled to stand firm without fear of what is before us.
Psalms 33:8-11
Let all the earth fear the LORD;let all the people of the world revere him.9 For he spoke, and it came to be;he commanded, and it stood firm.10 The LORD foils the plans of the nations;he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.1 1 But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.
Psalm 40:1-4
I waited patiently for the LORD;he turned to me and heard my cry.2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit,out of the mud and mire;he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.3 He put a new song in my mouth,a hymn of praise to our God.Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD.4 Blessed is the man who makes the LORD his trust, who does not look to the proud,to those who turn aside to false gods.
In life we must be patient, waiting on the Lord - if so He will hear us when we cry out to Him.
Hear the Word of God, the almighty will lift us out of the slimy pit, out of the muck and mire of sin and wickedness. In His abounding love He will set our feet on the solid ground so that we have a firm place that we can stand. Building our lives on a foundation that will lead each us to eternal life and we can confidently live in His grace and mercy.
The Lord will put a song in our hearts, joy in our life’s and we will praise our God for all that He has done and continue to do in our life’s.
Further, many will find God, manifesting a reverent fear of Him - trusting in Him completely never turning away from Him.
We are told we are blessed when we put all our hope and trust in God the Father.

And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.
