How should we live?

Matthew 22:34-40 “But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”

I was cupbearer to the king.

But I am just a cupbearer

reverence for God

favor with man

Use my position

A. Risked life

B. Submissive

C. Trusted

4. But i am just........

A. a teenager

B. a employee

C. not a college grad

D. not a lifelong christian

We are success, win, be right, optics driven.

Do the big two and wait for the “win”.

Cupbearers have to get involved in the kingdom.

not for the win, but for God.

Don’t wait on permission, get in the game.

PRay this prayer.

Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of this your servant and to the prayer of your servants who delight in revering your name. Give your servant success today by granting him favor in the presence of this man.”
