5 Build houses and dwell in them; plant gardens and eat their fruit.

1. A house is a place where life is Lived.

when you think about building a house to live in you need to take into account:

Time.

Energy.

Money.

an open mind.

Time:

if you are starting your life over, you don’t want to hear that it is going to take time to build your home. You will be tempted to want God to make the time up for you, and he may, however he probably not going to do it on the front end.

everything we do doesn't happen by inspiration. inspiration is the God inspired by God. But the Lord intended us to do it with Him by Perspiration.

Exodus 34:1–2 NKJV

1 And the Lord said to Moses, “Cut two tablets of stone like the first ones, and I will write on these tablets the words that were on the first tablets which you broke. 2 So be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and present yourself to Me there on the top of the mountain.

of course moses lost his temper over the ‘golden calf’ incident. so God made him rewrite them by hand. probably with chisel and stone.

Energy

Physically – you may find it more difficult to work or do what you love.

Emotionally – you may feel burdened by the demands of others and lash out at them, causing your relationships to suffer.

Mentally – you may feel confused, make poor decisions, or let others decide things for you.

Spiritually – your life may feel empty, hopeless or overwhelming.

Physical Energy- Jeremiah 31:25
