Good evening and I'm glad that you're here.
It's been a hot day and it has been.
It's been hot here lately happening.
Appreciate you asking that John.
I heard it was so hot in New York today that they asked the Statue of Liberty to lower her arm.
You know, it's hot.
When they asked the Statue of Liberty, to lower her arm out and, you know, it's hot.
Oh that's right.
So well it is good to be here tonight.
There's a there's a lot of going on in the world in it.
Don't it make you think that time is getting short.
Just makes you think that doesn't just everything that's going on.
I was reading the story the other day, you know, I told you sometime in, October, maybe late, September, or October.
We going to do a series And that will be our big event for this year on, you know, his God, real questions that people have answers that they want.
And one, the first sermons, I was going to preach is God is God?
Real is heat.
Does God exist.
And I was reading the story.
The other day said, the little boy, was in the classroom and they had to draw a picture in the teacher was walking around it and she looked at me, she said, Johnny what are you drawing?
And he said, well, I'm drawing God and she said with Johnny you can't draw God, nobody knows what he looks like.
He said well they'll know now you know, he wanted to draw God.
So hopefully on that Sunday I'll be able to draw a pretty picture of God for people.
And exactly what he's doing in this world.
And I hope you can be here this Sunday, because this Sunday, I'm going to preach on.
I'm going to preach on.
The supremacy of Jesus and how awesome Jesus really is.
You know, we think of him as Savior.
And dying on the cross.
But we don't go a whole lot further than that.
And he is so much more than that, so much more than that.
And we'll talk about that this Sunday.
Well tonight, I want us to finish up our Let me get, I got so many up here, finish up this study on our Outreach system.
And where did we leave off?
Vacation.
Bible School Number 5.
All right, let's see.
And that's on.
Okay, vacation, bible school.
So we talked about the Easter and, and how we can have big events at certain times of the year.
And we went through the East door about 7 weeks, out and 654.
And just kind of how we're going to do these events when we kind of plan on them and and go out and invite people.
And we'll talk a little bit more about that next week.
Vacation, bible school number 5 is have something for parents.
You need to have something for parents so they won't, just drop their children off.
So if you can have something for them especially if there's a lot of young children here parents want to know about parenting.
So if that be a very good week, you know, if you could have like a parenting class for the adults while the children are here, share the gospel is be, we always want to do that.
Invite the family to church service weekend.
So if you can get them in here during vacation bible school, then have something, you know, for them, you know maybe Sunday or something like that, maybe they can come back and you can recognize, you know, the children.
Most time you do that on the last night of vacation bible school, but there's different things ways, you can plan it and then invite them back soon.
So that's just another.
Outreach opportunity would be Vacation, Bible School, Mother's Day, Easter Christmas, and then you can plan your own old-fashioned.
A recognized teachers military law enforcement First Responders, just have your own special days that you want to have.
All right, so let's turn on the last page and we will quickly go through this.
This is kind of our overview of our evangelism.
System.
You do have that page, don't you?
Okay?
So, Number one.
Pray like a w.
What do you think that would be free like a w a warrior?
That's good, that's not good.
Oh that's good dude.
That's not it.
Pray like an evangelist will, how does an evangelist pray?
Lord, give me and my church your heart for the loss.
Nephew, been praying that these last 80 Days.
You been praying like an evangelist.
and I hope it's changed your heart and I hope you're looking at people different and I hope that you are praying for a couple of neighbors right now and have been good.
I I did.
I hope you have because those are the people that we're going to try to reach and I'm going to give you something tonight.
That's really going to help you.
I think I wouldn't even looking for and I come by at yesterday.
And we'll hand that out in a minute.
Pray like an evangelist invite your community to church so we need to get in our communities.
You said, yeah.
But we don't, we don't all live in the same Community.
We live in different places.
That's why you need to get in your community wherever you live.
You may not live in a subdivision but you probably have neighbors that live close by maybe even family members or, you know, in your community Figure out a way to get the word out about our upcoming event.
Now, I'll we going to get some invite cards that you can give the people We'll get some cards probably with the title of the series and a couple two or three of the messages.
The questions that's going to be asked and answered.
And we can hand those out.
You can go to local businesses, and hand those out.
Just just things like that.
The people around in your community.
Number three, inspiring, your members to be Salt and Light.
Well, I kind of what we were just talking about number four.
Make your church a place that people want to come back to.
Make your church a place that people want to come back to.
So what, what is that talking about?
Well, that's the first system that we talked about this emulation system.
They Come For the First Time.
Most important thing is friendliness second most is cleanliness Being as friendly as we can do, we give him a gift, small little gift when they leave.
We that that is the assimilation.
I hope you haven't forgot about that.
I hope you still have your paperwork so cuz we'll have to go back and look at that.
And beginning next week we'll do that and we'll start planning next week.
Some things that we need to do here around the grounds.
I know because already mentioned about the steps and things doing some things here on the ground, we need to start planning that I need to get the guy over here to look and give a quote for the power wash and I'll do that.
And then we're going to have to order our connect cards invite cards.
