Matt 5:28 “But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

Definition of Lust

Lust can be define as an intense or even excessive desire or craving.
Although the pursuit of sexual pleasure is often equated with lust, the meaning of the term is not limited to this dimension.
In Christian ethics, lust is numbered among the seven deadly sins.

The problem with Lust

The problem with lust comes from a lack of understand. many people beleive that lust is a root that leads to a bigger problem. when it is actually a fruit from the same tree called desire.
James 1:14-15 “But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.”
Proverbs 25:28 “A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls.”

Victory Over Lust

1. Identify the source

2. Control what you desire

3. Stay kingdom minded - (you do not have to be a part of socal norms).

4. Close all doors ( remove all occult items )

5. Rebuke all lustful and sexual spirits

6. Covenant your eyes to the Lord Job 31:1 ““I have made a covenant with my eyes; how then could I gaze at a virgin?”

Conclusion

Lust would take the body and discard the soul.
Love deeply desires the soul, and gladly receives whatever body accompanies it.
