Philippians 4:4 NKJV
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
1 Chronicles 29:9 NKJV
9 Then the people rejoiced, for they had offered willingly, because with a loyal heart they had offered willingly to the Lord; and King David also rejoiced greatly.
Today Text:
Matthew 7:1–6 NKJV
1 “Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. 6 “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.

1. Most people don’t realize the extent of there own personal sin.

Matthew 7:1–2 NKJV
1 “Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.
Jesus dosnt mean here that a person cannot make a Judgement call. of course you have to make a judgement call. what he means is not holding people to a standard that you cant live by.
I dont believe that I am better than any body. I have made better choices then some.
I have had to clean my own side of the street more than most people realize.
because of that I know some things about me.

2. Look at yourself first.

Matthew 7:2–5 NKJV
2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
humility is knowing about your own struggles first before you judge others.
Jesus call my sin a plank and your sin a speak.
this seams to deal with perspective.
i should deal with what hinders my own vision before i start waxing poetic about your sin.
moreover, he calls those who judge hypocrites.
do you first.

3. Not everyone see’s the value of what you have to give.

Matthew 7:6 NKJV
6 “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.
Jesus says yo cast your pearls before swine.
or give what us holy to the dogs
those who ate what us precious will consume you as well
