I know, we decided to take a vacation when we were coming mr.
Alexander for coordinating.
All this with us and the entire congregation.
We do not take the opportunity lightly 2, to give up a Sunday morning service to come and share what God is doing in our ministry.
So we we thank each and everyone of you for this opportunity.
Real Ranch is a, is a program that takes its stand on God's word.
We believe that that true life change that true freedom from addiction.
Comes from the sanctifying power that is found in the word of God.
2nd, Timothy, 3:16 and 17 starts.
With all scripture is breathed out by God, we believe that when scripture speaks God speaks
The metaphase one that we have here today through the six months of their first phase will go through 570 hours of biblical class time.
I relate this to Paul and when he is going through the whole armor of God, the only offensive weapon that he States in that scripture of Ephesians 6 is the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God.
We believe that the word of God is taught to to save the souls of men and is used as an offensive weapon, when they step back out into society into the dark world that we live in.
We need these men at their point of need is something that we always say and we don't do that by giving them steps to get better.
What we do is we share the gospel over and over and over and watch God do his miraculous work.
Another part of the phase, one of our program is scripture memorization these men are challenged to memorize 44, different sections of scripture.
We see in Psalms 119:9, how did the young man cleanse, his ways, by taking heed your word?
And then a few verses later, I hide your word in my heart so that I might not sin against you.
Be the sanctifying power of the word of God is what we take our stand on and for this portion of our program, but I would like to do is I have three of our phase one residence that would like to share a scripture a section of scripture that they have been meditating on and what it is meant to them.
So we thank you.
Good morning, bro, Baptist.
I'm dealing Wallace.
I'm 29 years old, from Little Rock Arkansas.
Los Angeles, said my virus.
It Psalm 119:11 I've hidden your word in my heart that I may not sin against you as I've been reading and studying, I've come to understand that.
That through Jesus.
That's the only way that this going to work for me.
If I don't have it in my heart, it doesn't last.
I've had a little bit of a background of Christianity, and always took the wheel after.
God delivered me through something.
And I turn my back and I failed every time.
So, until I learned to hide it in my heart and learn these scriptures.
I can't I can trust and thank you guys.
Good morning, guys.
My name is David Sheffield on 32 from Batesville Arkansas and my scripture is 1st Corinthians.
10:13, The Temptations in your life.
For No More Than The Temptations you laughing though.
Other than that, we're no different one from what others experience and God is faithful.
He will not allow The Temptations in your life to be more than you can stand.
And when you are tempted, he will show you a way out so you can endure and I've wasted a lot of years.
Over Temptations and What I love the most about this scripture is God is faithful and if you trust in him he will show you a way out.
Thank you.
Hey, Dustin.
Turner, I came here from Little Rock Arkansas.
My scripture that I memorize is not blue, not one from the memorization that they give us, but it's one that I was reading through and it just hit me real hard cuz Isaiah 57, 18 and 19.
Okay, it's a lot easier down there than up here.
That I swear, I wasn't nervous until now, but it says, I seen what they have done, I will heal them.
Anyway, I will leave them and I will comfort those who mourn.
I will bring peace real, peace to those far and near and I will heal them.
So says the Lord with me is because of Grace, the difference between grace and wages.
I did not learn what he's giving me the love and the comfort and everything that renewal Ranch has brought towards me.
Through the word of God is on test 5.
I can't tell you because I was a bad dude.
Was it wasn't good to my father when they told me about the Prodigal Son, start crying.
There's not a time that I wake up that I'm not giving the message through God that they use these guys, as best was the teachers that I can't before my feet.
Hit the ground pray and go through my day, okay?
And when I'm having a bad day, which they're going to come, no matter what.
God's word is there.
This place is full of the spirit and full of his vessels and I couldn't thank them enough and thank you guys for letting me come up here and talk to.
You have a good day.
Good morning church.
What a great day it is to be in the house of the Lord.
I'm thankful that God we cannot.
Thank you guys enough for opening your church and allow us to come share with God's.
I'm doing it for no rent on.
My name is Kim Bumble.
I am the face to assistant supervisor on my.
I also am a proud graduate of vernola ranch as well.
So, big part of our program is teaching about their identity in Christ identity before renewal Ranch.
And before God regenerated, my heart was nothing but of the world.
I think everything in the world, I'm at the age of 12, I was drinking alcohol.
While with my buddies in my grandparents living room thinking, it was cool.
You know, at a early age, my parents were divorced.
I did not have a role model in my life.
So I look for significance.
In other people, I wanted to be like these older kids in my life so I grabbed it to gravitated to work or what they was doing.
the age of 13 I was arrested for the first time for breaking and entering I was hanging out with the same older crowd, what they did.
I wanted to do, I wanted to emulate everything in their life because I thought it was.
I thought that's what I wanted in my life.
After that, my identity quickly change the sports.
At the age of 15, I started playing baseball for the first time.
Play through High School, play their college and played two years after that.
That was my identity.
I didn't care about anybody in my life.
I didn't care about school.
I care about my family, I cared about baseball.
The older I got my identity changed again, quickly became a job.
UK money and became drugs alcohol.
And I quickly lay me down a path that I never could have found them.
I would go.
About every relationship in my life.
My mother, my friends, my kids nobody wanted to be around me and I don't blame them.
Proverbs 23:7 says As a man thinketh in his heart.
So he is See myself in the world told me, I'd never be anything.
I'd be a loser, a liar, horrible, dad, horrible sound, and I believed it.
I firmly believed it.
But God.
God had different plans for me.
And in his sovereignty, he brought me to Renewal Ranch, you know.
I can't say I was too excited to come to Renewal Ranch.
