SECTION : THE ANOINTING
SECTION : THE ANOINTING
INTRODUCTION:
What makes a christian different from the the unsaved ? That makes it possible for us to succeed in such a difficult world? How change our story of defeat and failure to one of successes?
Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying,
Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit,
Saith the Lord of hosts.
God’s has given us provision for manifestation as sons. We don’t have to struggle to survive when we can triumph.
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
The anointing is for every believer: it makes a businessman irresistible , coward bold. it refreshes the discourage etc.
It brings an end to struggles and usher in a life of endless triumph. whether you are wearing slippers the anointing will announce you. an anointed man doesn’t need advertisement because the anointing will advertise him.
protection under the anointing:
He suffered no man to do them wrong:
Yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
Saying, Touch not mine anointed,
And do my prophets no harm.
Quickens your body:
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Quick to understand:
And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him,
The spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The spirit of counsel and might,
The spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;
And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord:
And he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes,
Neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
it teaches you all things:
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me;
Because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek;
He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all that mourn;
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion,
To give unto them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they might be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.
message:
The anointing is empowering of the spirit of the spirit for supernatural establishment. Its the auction to function.
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion,
To give unto them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they might be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.
Samson by the anionting
moses, Joseph
Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out:
So where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth.
meekness:
(Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)
My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the Lord shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
labour
But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
joy:
Thou wilt shew me the path of life:
In thy presence is fulness of joy;
At thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Evangelism:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
The closer you are to God the more you love the things that God loves.
The above scripture talks about God’s purpose:
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Purposes:
!. Reconciling man to God
2. Reconciling man to his purpose
3. Reconciling our true potential
4. Reconciling our dominion
5. Reconciling our leadership mandate
What is man, that thou art mindful of him?
And the son of man, that thou visitest him?
For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels,
And hast crowned him with glory and honour.
Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands;
Thou hast put all things under his feet:
All sheep and oxen,
Yea, and the beasts of the field;
The Lord loveth the gates of Zion
More than all the dwellings of Jacob.
Life style:
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.
