We should deal with family matters within the church family.
Stephen Um in his Great Commentary on 1 Corinthians said it this way.
The church is to be God’s community that conducts its family affairs in ways that are not shaped by the brokenness of the culture.
The local church should be a place of justice.
It is an indictment on the church when believers turn to the world to get a fair shake.
