Many people, even some Christians, have an incorrect view of heaven. They picture us sitting on clouds, strumming harps, and bored out of our minds. Nothing could be further from the picture the Bible paints of life in eternity. Continuing to use the metaphor of cities, Isaiah places the City of God - the world to come - high on a mountain and gives us a brief glimpse of what life will be like when we get there.
