Reading this Psalm line from King David that the snares of death prevented me [him], I remembered this verse from Hebrews where Saint Paul says: and to deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage -- gave thoughts to the difference we now live, since we have Christ Jesus as our Great High King and the promise of eternal life, which was not something King David had: true he had the promise of one of his descendants sitting on the throne, but he did not have the promise that his descendant Christ Jesus did bring to us, those who believe in Christ Jesus.
