The prophets were given unusual ways to illustrate God’s messages:
- Jeremiah
- wearing and hiding a linen belt
- smashing a clay jar
- wearing a yoke
- buying a field
- Ezekiel
- building a model of Jerusalem and laying by it
- shaving his head and beard with a sword
- Hosea
- marrying an unfaithful woman and then taking her back
