Transition:
Do you ever feel like that game is your life?
You feel like you are walking around and people are constantly trying to guess who you are?
Do you ever feel like you have to act a certain way or pretend to be a certain way around your family, friends, or others?
What is the churches vehicle?
“it is the activity of taking the gospel to those who have never heard that it is beautiful.”
What a quote!
Taking the gospel to those who have never heard that it is beautiful.
Proverbs 18:10 “10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are protected.”
Jonah 4:1-2 “1 Jonah was greatly displeased and became furious. 2 He prayed to the Lord, “Please, Lord, isn’t this what I said while I was still in my own country? That’s why I fled toward Tarshish in the first place. I knew that you are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger, abounding in faithful love, and one who relents from sending disaster.”
Romans 8:26-27 “26 In the same way the Spirit also helps us in our weakness, because we do not know what to pray for as we should, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groanings. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because he intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.”
1 JOhn 3:16 “16 This is how we have come to know love: He laid down his life for us. We should also lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.”
John 17:23 “23 I am in them and you are in me, so that they may be made completely one, that the world may know you have sent me and have loved them as you have loved me.”
Ephesians 1:4-6 “4 For he chose us in him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless in love before him. 5 He predestined us to be adopted as sons through Jesus Christ for himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 to the praise of his glorious grace that he lavished on us in the Beloved One.”
