Proverbs 20:7 “A righteous person acts with integrity; his children who come after him will be happy.”
Proverbs 23:15 “My son, if your heart is wise, my heart will indeed rejoice.”
Proverbs 1:10-19 “My son, if sinners entice you, don’t be persuaded. If they say—“Come with us! Let’s set an ambush and kill someone. Let’s attack some innocent person just for fun! Let’s swallow them alive, like Sheol, whole, like those who go down to the Pit. We’ll find all kinds of valuable property and fill our houses with plunder. Throw in your lot with us, and we’ll all share the loot”— my son, don’t travel that road with them or set foot on their path, because their feet run toward evil and they hurry to shed blood. It is useless to spread a net where any bird can see it, but they set an ambush to kill themselves; they attack their own lives. Such are the paths of all who make profit dishonestly; it takes the lives of those who receive it.”
Proverbs 5:20 “Why, my son, would you lose yourself with a forbidden woman or embrace a wayward woman?”
Proverbs 6:3 “Do this, then, my son, and free yourself, for you have put yourself in your neighbor’s power: Go, humble yourself, and plead with your neighbor.”
Proverbs 14:26 “In the fear of the Lord one has strong confidence and his children have a refuge.”
Proverbs 24:13 “Eat honey, my son, for it is good, and the honeycomb is sweet to your palate;”
Proverbs 13:1 “A wise son responds to his father’s discipline, but a mocker doesn’t listen to rebuke.”
Proverbs 22:6 “Start a youth out on his way; even when he grows old he will not depart from it.”
Proverbs 4:10 “Listen, my son. Accept my words, and you will live many years.”
Proverbs 5:1 “My son, pay attention to my wisdom; listen closely to my understanding”
Proverbs 24:21 “My son, fear the Lord, as well as the king, and don’t associate with rebels,”
Proverbs 1:8 “Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction, and don’t reject your mother’s teaching,”
Proverbs 20:20 “Whoever curses his father or mother— his lamp will go out in deep darkness.”
Proverbs 17:6 “Grandchildren are the crown of the elderly, and the pride of children is their fathers.”
Proverbs 28:24 “The one who robs his father or mother and says, “That’s no sin,” is a companion to a person who destroys.”
