I. God's Temple belongs to Him . (Acts 7:44-50; I Kings 8:27; Jer. 7).
II. God's Temple is holy. (Heb. 9:1-7).
- Holy = set apart or devoted to God.
III. God's people are now His Temple . (1 Cor. 3:16; 6:19-20; Ex. 25:8; 40:34-35; II Chron. 7:1-3; Matt. 1:22-23; John 1:14; Acts 2:38; Eph. 2:19-22).
IV. God's Temple is to be treated with honor.
- A. Protect the honor of His Temple.
- 1. Our best effort. (Col. 3:23-24).
- 2. Our mouth .
- 3. Our life . (II Cor. 6:16-7:1).
- B. Protect the integrity of the Temple. (Heb. 8:5-6; I Cor. 3:10-11; John 8:31).
- C. Protect the unity of the Temple. ( I Cor. 1:10-12; 3:1-4; John 17:20-23).
- D. Continue the mission of the Temple. ( I Cor. 3:5-9).
- Do people see a positive reflection of
- God when they observe me?
