It is easy to take a dim view of the world and even of life. Where can we look for hope? The Bible has a very solid and certain answer: the face of Jesus Christ. In fact, in today's text, we see Joseph foreshadow how Jesus would be humbly obedient to God and become exalted above every name. Christ calls us to take his light yoke, just as he is lowly in heart. We know the glorious truth that God will exalt the humble who trust in Him.
