God Always Provides A Way

V1-12
God told Moses to turn, God directed Israel to go the way they did. God was in control.
We sometimes see our circumstances, and we drown in our own circumstances. We see all the negative that can happen. Even when we are praying our mind likes to take the negative route.
Moses took Israel into an alley with no outlet.
He (God) even harden Pharaohs heart to pursue Israel.
We are in the circumstances we are in because God has directed us there.
Remember this for for those of us who are submitted to Gods plan.
If you are not submitted to God then you are on your own path.
But I am talking to believers.
There are times when we might not see a way out.
How is our family going to reconcile after this?
How am I going to live after this health condition?
How am I going to pay my bills after retiring?
We also see ourselves in an alley with no way out.
And just like the Apostles when they were in the boat and they started sinking when Jesus was sleeping in the back of the boat. Jesus was there with them and they still lacked faith. They saw no way out, but Jesus calmed the sea and they were OK.
So we also when we are going through the storms of life. We also need to put our faith in Christ.
We see no way out. What do we do?
Moses told Israel to no be afraid and to hold still.
The same God tells us, to not be afraid and stand still.
When we make decisions out of fear we make mistakes.
When we make emotional decisions we make mistakes.
When we make emotional decisions we make mistakes.
V13-14
God says stand still, do not make a decision at this time. Just wait on the Lord.

Many years ago in England there was a small boy who talked with a lisp. While growing up, he was never a scholar. When war came along, they rejected him because “we need men.” He once rose to address the House of Commons, and they all walked out. He often spoke to empty chairs and echoes.

One day he became prime minister of Great Britain and led his country to victory in a worldwide conflict. That man was Sir Winston Churchill, whose iron will to persevere rallied all of his countrymen to defend their land and eventually win the war

Two frogs fell into a can of cream,

Or so I’ve heard it told.

The sides of the can were shiny and steep,

The cream was deep and cold.

“Oh, what’s the use?” croaked number one.

“Tis fate, no help’s around.

Good-bye, my friend!

Good-bye, sad world!”

And weeping still, he drowned.

But number two, of sterner stuff,

Dog-paddled in surprise.

The while he wiped his creamy face,

And dried his creamy eyes.

“I’ll swim awhile at least,” he said,

Or so I’ve heard he said;

“It really wouldn’t help the world,

If one more frog were dead.”

An hour or two he kicked and swam,

Not once he stopped to mutter,

But kicked and kicked and swam and kicked,

Then hopped out, via butter

Sometimes when the Lord tells us to stand still what he means to say is to stand still.
Perseverance does not mean you have to do something. It means to continue to do what you were doing, and here He means stand still.
And then before you know it God goes before you fighting every single battle you are facing. And I will tell you, that feels good.
It feels good when you know that every Battle you are facing will be won by God. According to Gods plan He has for you.
That gives me comfort.
Because God puts us in the positions we are in.
We just went to raging waters, and as I was going down the slide that were tunnels, it reminded me of life. Sometimes we feel that we are going to be in darkness forever, but just before you know it you see the light at eh end of the tunnel.and you know it is not a train coming at you.
It feels good to let God fight your battles.
God tells moses to put his rod out.
Moses listens.
Just like God drowned the Egyptians- God also drowns all of our battles.
Yes we might be scared- but if we just like Israel move forward toward God and follow His directions then w also will get across with no problems.
Psalm 117: 2 “For his merciful kindness is great toward us: And the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.”
Psalm 117:6
Psalm 117:8-9
Psalm 119:105 “NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And a light unto my path.”
