I. We are to Forgive Like Jesus

A. We are to Be Kind to One Another

B. Forgive Your Brother and Sister for Christ’s Sake

Eph 4:32 “32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”

C. The Lord’s Prayer Said that We are to For Give Others Debtors, So God Will Forgive Our Debts

Matt 6:12 “12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our

debtors.”

D. God Will Not Forgive Our Trespasses, If We Don’t Forgive the Trespasses of Others

Matt 6:14-15 “14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”

E. Jesus Told Peter That We Are to Forgive Seventy Times Seven

Matt 18:21-22“21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.”

F. If You Brother or Sister Trespass Against You Rebuke Him

Luke 17:3-4 “3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. 4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.”

II. All Sins Will Be Forgiven Unto Men

A. Blasphemy Against Men Will Be Forgiven

Matt 12:31-32 “31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

B. Even Speaking a Word Against the Son of Man, Jesus Can Be Forgiven

32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him:

B. But If You Speak Against the Holy Ghost, Holy Sprit, It Will Not Be Forgiven You in This World or in the World to Come, Heaven

but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.”

III. The Story of the Lord of Servant Who Forgave a Man a Large Debt

A. The Servant Owed Ten Thousand Talents

B. The Lord Was Going to Take His Wife and Children Until He Pay the Ten Thousand Talents

C. The Lord of the Servant Had Compassion on Him, because Fell Down and Worshiped Him Ask for Patience

D. The Servant Said That He Would Repay All of His Debt

Matt 18:24-32 “24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents. 25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. 26 The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

E. The Lord of the Servant Forgave All of His Dept

27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

F. The Servant Then Went Out and Found His Fellow Servants Who Owed Him an Hundred Pence

H. He Grab Him by the Throat, Demanding That Pay All He Owned Him

I. The Servant Asked for Patience, and He Would Pay All His Debt

J. But He Would Not and Wanted to Put Him in Prison Until He Paid All His Debt

28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest. 29 And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. “30 And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.

K. His Servant Saw What He Had Done and Went and Told Their Lord all He Had Done

31 So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.

L. The Lord of the Servant Call Him

32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him,

M. He Said Thou Wicked Servant, I Forgive You because You Desired Me Too

O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:”

N. Because He Did not Have Compassion on His Servant, the Lord was Worth and Delivered Him to Be Tormented, Till He Pay All His Debt

Matt 18:33-34 “33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? 34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.”
