In our life there are many ways we deal with our problems but not all ways help solve the problems.
Many of us who are dealing with a problem try to use our own wisdom to solve it. And to a certain extent that is ok, God has blessed us with wisdom and knowlege on how to deal with many issues in our life.
What if we run into decisions in our life were we are not able to use our own wisdom and knowlege? what do we do then?
We could ask others. we could search online. we can try different methods and see which method works the best. but this may not always work.
The best method is to trust and seek what God wants us to do. We should be seeking his answer to our life.
As the youth we may not know what Gods plan is for our life, who we should marry, what job we should have, etc. These are very important matters in our life that we should come to God and seek out his will because the world will force its own path on our life and before we know it we may be lost and confused.
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans that I am planning concerning you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘plans for prosperity and not for harm, to give to you a future and a hope.”
in this verse, God states that he is concerned about us and wants us to prosper and he has good intentions for us.
Another verse that has given me comfort in times of confusion is:
Proverbs 3:5–6 LEB
Trust Yahweh with all your heart; do not lean toward your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will straighten your paths.
Psalm 40:1 LEB
I waited patiently for Yahweh, And he inclined to me and heard my cry for help.
What do you do in the time that you are waiting? often times waiting on Gods answer is not easy and we may not have an answer right away but we must stay faithful that he will come and give us an answer. In the time we are waiting we must seek the kingdom of God
Matthew 6:33–34 LEB
But seek first his kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow, because tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
