Introduction

According to a study that was conducted by Jesus Film (2020), the Multigenerational Survey on Evangelism determined the following reasons were given for not sharing one’s faith:

Fear

Lack of opportunity

Nothing

Unequipped

Lack of interest

Rejection

Hostility

Busy

Other

Too Shy

Inappropriate/ insufficient relationship

Hard to bring up

Pushy

Offense

For whatever it is worth, we are able to see the drastic difference we face in sharing our faith and doing so effectively. It seems an appropriate study of the Bible will help with some of these struggles. The key thing is we must find a consistent and agreeable way to interpret Scripture so we might share a compelling message that would allow individuals to come to Jesus.
